If you play more tactical slower competitive games, definitely go for the Zero, you'll have much more precise aim and better stopping power/ flicks and tracking.įor me personally I can use the Zero as my all rounder no problems. ![]() If you play higher sensitivity games like MOBAs, fortnite, overwatch, Call of duty(?) etc go for the Hien, you'll glide faster and when you get used to the accuracy stopping power you'll perform just fine. also the G640 is 'firmer' than both Artisans. Things I noticed using the Zero is the feel is softer almost like a velvety soft, the glide is quiet, surface is less shiny due to the cloth weave.īoth pads can have hair/dog hair stuck in them and you'll have to pull it out, you could say they are dust magnets, but I tend to mindlessly brush it with my hands so it's not a big deal.īoth have airtight sort of sticky bases, IT WILL NOT MOVE.īoth glide better and more consistent than my G640 but I've used it for a long time so. It's harder to overshoot with the Zero for me. Could be placebo currently but I feel my aim is more pin point and flicks are better. Recently I got the Zero SOFT, and straight away using it, I just know this mousepad feels right, its a familiar feeling and definitely has better stopping power compared to the Hien, but still glides very well. Overall XSOFT edition doesn't make a big difference from what I've experienced, yes its soft, but you have to concentrate pressure in one spot, its like a pseudo wrist rest at times because with the weight of your arm it sort of sinks into the pad a tiny bit. My mouse makes a scratchy sound when gliding on the pad due to small hairs etc stuck to the feet edges. It took a fortnight or so to get used to the mousepad and perform well with it. I tend to over flick sometimes so I don't find it good for consistency and low sensitivity aiming. But the glide is fast and with my GPW with tiger arc 1's my mouse glides very well, but a bit fast for my preference. I play Valorant mainly nowadays with 800dpi/3.77 in game currently ranked Immortal 3Ĭlose up picture of Weave difference Top is Hienįirst I got the Hien XSOFT and immediately you notice it's a different kind of mousepad, the feel is like super fine sandpaper except it doesn't sand.
